What is seen by my care professionals?

The information that people looking after you are able to access depends on their role in your care.

For instance, a Care Professional might have full access to your records, whilst a GP Receptionist may only be able to view the information that is relevant to checking you in. This type of role based access ensures your information is only viewable for the people who really need it.

The type of information to be shared and how much each professional role can view is agreed and monitored by a group of data protection professionals.

More detail on the information seen by staff involved in your care can be found here.
